Kirkland brand coffee beans roasted by Starbucks is excellent. Two lb bag of beans here in L.A. for $9.99, on a par with any beans you'd buy from Starbucks at double the price.

USDA Prime Brisket, last one I got was less than $3/lb, absolutely ridiculous price.

You should also try the pork belly from Costco. Makes great BBQ.

What did the whole piece look like? The ones I bought had been rolled up and tied.

Rubbed it down with NuNu's seasoning and smoked it at 225 until it reached about 160 internal. Then I put some butter and apple cider vinegar on it and wrapped in foil. Put it back on at about 250 until internal reached 195. Removed from smoker and let rest for 45 minutes then shredded it.

I usually call first and talk to the meat dept. They will have it waiting for you when you get there.

Janky - what did you get?

I have a hard time getting out of there for less than 150 bones...

We didn't get much today. Just kinda scoped it out. Going to make a list and go back tomorrow.

We bought milk, cheese sticks, avocados, strawberries and a few other things.

Those are strips sliced from the whole spinalis.

I had them cut the entire ribcap of the ribeye...looked like a brisket but was the best cut of beef I've ever prepared.

You'll love it. They carry quality stuff. It's not very convenient for getting 1 or 2 things, though.

It started up in Seattle, and is very popular up here in the PNW. We have 8 of them in Portland. I live directly across the street from the Nike campus, and there is a Costco on the other side of the campus. Sometimes the wife and I will take a walk through the Nike campus and go eat lunch at Costco...
