Be careful sprinting at 325. Those good knees can turn bad quick do it on natural grass if possible

Every pound you lose relieves 3-4 lbs of pressure on your joints, at least

Sprinting is used loosely.

Form running might be more accurate.

Made a pit stop by the house last night after getting home from vacation. Hopped on the scale at 8:30pm (instead of 6:30am). No scale this morning but I'm quite positive I would have been 205 and some change.

I decided to have a little treat in the form of eating a couple of small pieces of my mom's birthday cake and chocolate ice cream while I was there and had a margarita and some watermelon over the weekend. All in all, I didn't go crazy with carbs and came back lighter than expected so I'm pretty happy about that.

Fell off of posting here a while back but never really got the results I was looking for. This time around I think I'm going to switch to weighing in only on Fridays so that I don't have an awesome workout then weigh in the next day, gain two pounds and get discouraged.

I think my biggest problem when it comes to weight loss is drinking. I'm still in college and my friend group tends to drink a lot. Any recommendations for smart drinking? I'm thinking I could just drink straight whiskey or for mixed drinks only using fruit juice/water?

empty calories are empty calories whether you mix it with water or a sugary drink. If you plan to drink, you need to keep it within the limits of your daily caloric needs to keep you at a deficit. Even then, it's not going to make your life any easier. I'd scan the barcode of some whiskey just so you can see how many calories are actually in 1oz (a shot being 1.5oz) and then you can decide better on how to drink smarter.

Honestly though, I'm not much of a drinker so it's tough for me to give any advice on it other than to say just don't do it if losing weight is important to you.

Weird thing about this week is I only focused on getting back to eating less and eating better food. Didn't actually do any specific workouts just tried to always be doing something that didn't involve me sitting on my couch. Let's see if I can carry this momentum through the 4th of July weekend...

Last weekend, I went to Dallas to visit friends, and in celebration of losing 45 pounds, I ate a 32 oz steak with all the sides and chocolate mousse for dessert. And a double In N Out burger the next day. It has taken me all week to get back to where I was. But, I was already hitting a plateau. It's getting really hot, and I work outside a lot, so I'm sure I'll break the plateau soon. I really want to get to 220-225 by August 1.

Nothing weird about that. Diet is way more important and way more effective in weight loss than exercise.

50 lbs in 80 days.

If I can do 30 in the next 80, I'll be happy, but I should do better being that I work outside a lot, and it's hot as balls.

Apparently 4 days straight of stuffing your face and drinking beer all day will make you gain 10 pounds. I'm sure 75% of that was actually water weight from re-introducing carbs in to my system like a flood of sugary goodness, but it'll come off just as fast. Was 213 on Monday and got my diet back on track again now that I'm home. Moving on Saturday, and then should finally be settled again for a while to try and get my p90x3 routine going again.

I'm going to join this thread today, but I don't have time to catch up on 818 pages

I'm assuming the split is starting weight/current weight/goal weight.

If so, 221/221/165.
