Hit the gym today for the first time in about a month, maybe a month and a half. I've decided I'm going to start doing Mehdi's 5x5 lifting routing and in between lift days I'll do some cardio. I'm thinking lifting MWF, sprints Tuesday, and a long walk Thursday.. with weekends off.

Don't see the number sticking tomorrow. I think I might be a bit dehydrated.

Mac Arthur's Park is melting in the dark
all the sweet green icing flowing down
someone left the cake out in the rain
I don't think that I can take it
'cause it took so long to bake it
and I'll never have that recipe again
Oh, nooo!

Did sprints for the first time yesterday and can't believe the difference it made. I wish I had taken before pictures of myself a year ago.

Was wondering if anyone would realize those were the lyrics to one of the worst songs of all time that was actually a hit.

I used to have the vinyl album A Tramp Shining. Not sure why or where it came from.

Yeah that songs an oldie and oh so sappy. I was pissed I heard Beast of Burden on the oldies station the other day. That album came out when I was in HS

I guess it's time to come back here.

I have just not been able to get my mind right since I went off the diet two months ago.

You have to diet for the rest of your life. By this I mean you have to change your diet and lifestyle forever or you will never keep weight off.

I've fallen way off track. Hit the gym yesterday, and today I'm planning to go for a run. I found a new app called Run, Zombies!.. the reviews say it's awesome. It's an immersive running program where you run and collect items to build shelter and have food and weapons for your online community. While you're running you come across packs of zombies where you have to sprint to get away. Sounds really fun.

Tried it today, it's really cool. Although I didn't realize that one mission is like 5 minutes long and you have to manually cycle missions. It'll keep track of the running you do even once you complete the mission though, and you can still collect items as you run. It's hot as hell outside
