Up to 10 days in a row of keeping on the keto train. No raiding candy bowls of coworkers or anything like that.

Got in my workout and I'm feeling great heading towards the weekend and my buddy's wedding.

In other news, I had to give consent for a background check today which means a job offer with UAB is in the future. Been at my current job 8 years and really looking forward to a change! Today has been a great day I'm feeling like a million bucks.

If you're still dealing with that from the shoulder then you probably do need to see someone. dont want to end up with nerve damage.

Today is LEG DAY

I think I may just ride though and not actually touch a weight. We will see. I have for certain made up my mind to stay away from any upper body stuff except bands for the next few weeks until I get this shoulder thing figured out.

I'm finally trending that way. Had been going strong for like 2 days then giving in to the sugar like crazy. A couple days ago I threw away my 5lb bag of blueberries that I couldn't stop myself from snacking on and gave all my protein bars away.

Just need to do without sweets for a week or two and I'll get back to how I was a while back and wasn't even phased by any type of sweets.

yep, same exact thing for me. I would come into work, get annoyed with someone and then go take a piece or two of chocolate from one of my office mate's candy bowl. Then that would slowly evolve into 3-4 trips a day to take a piece which then turned into, sure I can have bread I've already screwed up with candy.

The only snacks I've kept in the hotel with me are peanuts (which supposedly only had a carb per serving) so even if I go overboard on the snacking it doesn't mess me up much, and queso + pork rinds. No halo top or anything like that, those seem to cause cravings.

Peanuts and almonds aren't sweet, but those trigger the hell out of binges for me.

I miss fruit, especially pineapples. and chinese food. I can live without sweets and most starches, but some veggies trip me up, like green beans, leeks, stuff you don't traditionally think of as "unhealthy"

Didn't eat much yesterday. Thankful for coffee this morning helping me fast until noon.

Was worried people would overreact and coffee shops wouldn't be open today.

I’m getting back on Vyvanse tomorrow after 2 months off. I can’t formally fast, but I’m looking forward to coming as close as possible to it. Can’t waaaittt.

I'm considering getting it again. Might help at work. Haven't taken it since college.

I eat lazy keto (75% of the time) to maintain my weight. Not actively trying to lose weight much anymore. I just find that keto is the easiest way for me to not be anal about my food habbits and also not blow up like a blimp.

Welp, shocker of a story here. Not really, same old tired story of mine.

I didn't keep up with my diet at all on vacation. I planned to track and weigh in every day, and while I didn't plan to meet my macros, I wanted to stay within my allotted calories most days.. spare the one day we were going on a brewery tour and I knew I was going to drink a LOT.

I brought my food scale and bathroom scale; didn't really use either one of them. I don't feel like I ate a ton of food most days, but food + drinks + not tracking = I probably ate more than I really know, leading to lots of bloat and most assuredly some fat gain. The only silver lining is that the weather was beautiful so we walked a lot. About 4-5 miles/day. 5 mile hike one day, too.

Getting back to tracking and exercising today. Taking an intro Crossfit class Wednesday, and potentially taking that up. It's a lot of money for my wife and I to sign up for CF though, so that's a big hangup right now.

I'm planning to eat at my previously prescribed macros through the rest of the week and getting back into the groove and then Friday switch to a slow fat loss ahead of schedule.

I’m glad you were able to enjoy your trip. As long as you get back on track quickly, you’re all good.

I’m back on board today. I feel like I perpetually want to lose 20 lbs no matter where I am, but yeah. That’s my current goal.
