Cuban had 3 cases around lunchtime. $12 a bottle. No idea if they have any left, or who else got it today.

Those of you in Lafayette, I encourage you to buy your bottles straight from the brewery. It puts more money in Parish's hands, and helps allow them to keep making kickass beers like this.

Yea I hung out there for awhile yesterday. Was one of the first to taste South Coast from the first keg they tapped.

Andrew is planning on Brewing Farmhouse again and keeping it. They are fully aware it's going to such to pour.

Parish thinks way to highly of themselves with their prices

It's a 750 mL bottle... you serious Clark? How much would you like them to charge?

Had a taste of this last night and it was on point. Much more my style of a Black IPA.

Aren't Stone SSR and Firestone Walker Wookey Jack both around $7 a bottle?

I don't think $12 is terribly overpriced, but I can see where some consumers would feel that way.

Plus I'm pretty sure Parish is only getting like a $4 of that $12 so consumers should blame Louisiana's fricked up distribution system as much, if not more, than Parish.

I paid $7.99 for a bomber of Stone's Best By Date IPA.

yeah I don't think people realize that a 750ml bottle is 15% more volume than a bomber, which is 22oz.

It'll probably run $16 at calandros.

So far argument's sake, a 750ml of Stone would be $8.63 if we assume a bomber price of $7.50 and everything scales in linearly, which it probably doesn't.

Listen I agree $12 is a bit high, but depending on how in-demand Dr. Hoptagon is you can argue the price is set correctly. Parish doesn't have near the capacity that Stone possesses I'm assuming so if he get more per bottle for his product to offset his lack of volume then rock n roll.

Right. $12 isn't terrible, but it should be more like $10 IMO.

I really wish they would release these standard beers in 500ml or 6 packs.
