Round steak and gravy made in the crock pot. It was my absolute favorite as a kid. Mom put cream of mushroom or something like that, and it was a white gravy.

I learned years later that the rest of my family hated it, but my mom made it for me once every couple of months, because I liked it so much.

Damn this is a hard one.. because I keep thinking of family dishes I still love as an adult but wondering if as a child they were also my absolute favorite.

My paternal grandma's seafood gumbo was always sooooo freaking good. Unmatched.

My mom use to make this cold pasta salad all the time, she still makes it from time to time and will drop off a container of it.

Its basically just pasta, deli meats, cheeses, roasted garlic, boiled egg and either ranch or ceasar salad dressing.

That's a good one for me as well. My mom still makes this at least once a month.
