At this food truck, you're family! LINK

Who's going to join the Breadstick Nation? I'll be at the Astros game tomorrow night but I think I will have to skip eating at this one.

If that thing rolls through the med center at lunchtime on a weekday...

I mean...I can only eat chipotle and Salada for so many days in a row. I could go for some breadsticks.

You know a trend is completely done when a giant food corp tries to bump its image by latching on....what's next, the Sysco "Buy Direct" wagon?

They built an Olive Garden off 59 near Buffalo Speedway.....I wanted to protest. Get that nonsense out of here. Almost as bad as a Walmart...gonna bring down my property value.

The Wal-Mart on Wayside is just far enough away from me for it to be ok. It's a warzone. I went to the Home Depot at 45 and 610, thought I might need to shank someone.

It's a chain restaurant. Therefor it's cool to hate on the interwebs.

Granted, we have much better local Italian food in South Louisiana than in most places. In the vast majority of the country, Olive Garden is probably one of the best Italian restaurants in its town, but not here or in any other region with a significant Italian population (New Jersey, New York, Philly, Chicago, ect)

I get that...of course it won't be as good as authentic Italian cuisine by a mom and pop....but it's very solid food and great value for the price. I don't get why people have to hate on it.

It's simple. It's because it's a chain restaurant. They hate nearly any and all chains.

Outback? SUUUUUCKS!!! Actually, I really like their Filet and it's a great value.

Ruth's Chris? SUUUUUUUCKS!!! Despite the fact that it's generally the best, if not top 5, steak house in all but a small handful of cities in the U.S.

Chili's? same thing, but I wouldn't pass up their ribs or fajitas, as both are in the top 5 of each of their respective categories in Baton Rouge.

Louisiana can afford this unnecessary snobbery, but most places (not named Austin, NYC, Chicago, Vegas, San Francisco, or LA) cannot.

From the five minutes of my life that I would like to get back -- spent searching though their over-designed web presence -- it appears that one of their four trucks is also here in Atlanta this week.

I'll be damned if I can tell you where or when.
