and I came out with a rotisserie chicken, and NOTHING else. That was hard to do. I don't think I've ever gone through the line and spent less than 5 bucks there, before.

I've done that, but when I've gone through the line...

It took the discipline of a super hero to pull it off, though...

If you didn't get a hot dog, you're doing it wrong. Going to Costco alone is a great "me time" experience.

Jeez, at least get a slice of pep. It's satisfying just to say, "I want a slice of pep," with a lot of emphasis on "pep".

I'm happy if we get out at only around $100.

This. When I go to Falcons games, I hit up Costco for lunch on Monday. Hot dog combo and a slice of pep $3.70 and a fantastic hangover meal.

Good Lord...thank God I'm not the only one that thinks this way

There is something incredibly soothing about roaming up and down the isles and looking at all the cool stuff. My wife can't stand going there with me.

Because my profile says I live in Portland?

ETA: Of course, with the double negative, you're saying that I lived in Lafayette, which definitely ain't not false...

No, the store in Lafayette is in such a cluster frick to get around, with all the traffic, no one would go for just 1 chicken.

Back when I was a wireless rep I had all the Sams clubs. I would visit 4/5 a day around DFW. I did it for 18 months and gained 15 lbs.
