Looking to buy a lower-budget charcoal grill

Hey guys,
So I am looking to get a great charcoal grill to finally cook for myself. I've looked up the great ones, like the Kamado Joe and Big Green Egg, but they're very expensive. My father is looking to spend at the most around 300 for a grill.
I've looked up this one: Char-Grill Kamado Grill
It was 260 dollars and had great reviews. Good choice? Are there any features I should be looking for in one?

That pit should cook whatever you want unless you are trying to become the next top chef, yet we have a lot on here who should be running commanders palace.

Weber Kettle premium is around $150 I think. Can do anything on mine- Can go over 600* with enough fuel, and it's held >12 hours at 250* using snake method. Lots of accessories available and a long anti-rust warranty.

Why are you baws steering him towards a briquette grill when he wants a Komado type grill?

I've got my $120 weber holding 230n deg F with lots of smoke. Can't do lower but can go higher. Damn things last decades. This is my second one in 40 yrs. I upgraded to the one with the ash catch at the bottom.
I separate the fire grate with brick into a hot section and a cool section.

Weber kettle. Get the Weber performer for a kettle/side table/gas starter combo. Love mine.

Weber kettle. It's one of my favorite tools. If I had only one way to cook chicken breasts it would be a Weber kettle (and a thermometer).

With your $300 budget, use the $150 in savings on prime beef.

Another vote for the Weber kettle.....use the leftover money to buy a Kettle Pizza kit.
