I saw where the OP questioned the ramen noodle slaw.
This recipe (as you posted) is spot on and very good.

Blue Cheese Slaw:
My favorite. Next time chop up some cilantro to add to it. It really kicks up the flavor profile. We used an Amish Bleu last week and it was really good.

I've done it before. Turned out really good.

This is my go-to coleslaw
1 (16 ounce) bag coleslaw mix
2 tablespoons diced onion
2/3 cup creamy salad dressing (such as Miracle Whip)
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds
Combine the coleslaw mix and onion in a large bowl.
Whisk together the salad dressing, vegetable oil, sugar, vinegar, salt, and poppy seeds in a medium bowl; blend thoroughly. Pour dressing mixture over coleslaw mix and toss to coat. Chill at least 2 hours before serving.

Good deal
I keep wanting to try a Stilton, my favorite blue, in this recipe but that's a hefty flavor and a hefty price tag for cole slaw!
eta: we mix Hellman's with a bit of Miracle Whip for the mayo. Gives that little bit of zip.

Thanks MD. You and Gris' endorsement goes a long way around here.

I don't know about all that, but I wasn't interested in the recipe when I saw it on paper. I have an issue with not trying some recipes which have ingredients I think I won't care for. I'm trying to change that. Anyway, my sister made the slaw and I probably ate more of it than that meal we had. It's sort of addicting. I think I'm going to try apple cider vinegar when I next make it. I love that stuff.

Buy a couple of bags of the tri colored cole slaw mix-stay away from "shredded"
Mayo
Seasoning-any Cajun season all will do
Apple cider vinegar
Sesame oil
Stir, refrigerate about an hour, eat

Instead of using mayo to make a slaw, use Cousin's Creole Tomato Dressing

Thanks bro I won't steer you wrong.
Try that slaw.
