I like the R and R but live in Colorado so I don't think they will ship that far without costing an arm and a leg.

Could I use this burner and prop it up to work with this stand?

My dad has that burner and it is awesome. We even use it to boil crawfish sometimes. I'm pretty positive that pot can sit right on top of that burner as well.

Since both products are Bayou Classic try calling them and asking if they work together. 888-300-7617 LINK /
They do have several of those burners. You want to get the right one for that pot.

I will have to give them a call and see what they recommend.

Thanks

How far does the burner need to be away from pot?

get a kit to add a quick disconnect fitting to the burner. eliminate the need to carry wrenches.

lol, try flipping rice in the pot while sitting right on top of that burner...or even stirring, you'll need to sit it in a stand that has a burner attached or you could possibly rig something with just a banjo burner sitting on blocks or something...but the stand that comes with the pot is pretty awful.

What makes it a jambalaya pot? I mean, why specifically jambalaya? Looks like just about anything could be cooked in it.

My suggestion, buy just an 11 inch banjo burner, take the stand that comes with the pot and bring it to a sheet metal fabrication shop or a somebody who does welding on the side and get them to rig you up something similar to what you see in the pic below

if you want wind guards like below, then that of course will substantially raise the price

I wielded giant lug nuts to my burner that support the pot legs perfectly.

a railroad crossing sign makes a great pot lid

and an arrow sign cut in half with hinges make a great wind sheild

Resourceful
I just spray painted a piece of sheet metal and welded to stand.

Probably go with both the pot stand and burner and try them out. Then eventually build a rolling metal stand
