Ok this peaks my interest. Any pointers on where to start with the Dolomites? Specific towns, where to fly to, highlights, etc?

Not into major cities, but would like to see Rome if it fits.
More into mountains and hiking/eating and drinking.
Not dead set on Italy, but it’s a place we both would like to go to....

Getting married the second weekend of October. Looking at Italy as a possible honeymoon destination. Not really a sit in the beach type couple.
Has anyone done something similar?
Any tips/suggestions or must dos/must avoid?

New Orleans is fun, but I enjoy the parade route in Metairie more. We typically go near the Total Wine off Vets in Old Metairie....

I have ample parking area and think the house would benefit from the added space.

I have wondered what the effects to resale are as well.
On one hand it would increase the usable size of the home. I would ideally build a home office in there.
But I understand the loss of the garage may be a an issue for some. Most don’t park in their garages around here from what I have s...

My garage is fully insulated, except for the door. It does not currently have HVAC.
This week my garage door was damaged and before replacing it, I’m considering framing in the opening.
The garage is not used for vehicles and would be a nice addition to the house.
Any reason to not do this...

Homer spit is pretty cool place to hangout for a few hours.
You should also go Salmon fishing on the Kenai. I stayed in Soldotna which is on the way to Homer.
Near Seward is Kenai Fjords national park. There is a pretty good hike to the glacier.
Watch out for moose if driving at night....

I hiked at Gooseberry Falls a few years ago at Christmas Time. The North Shore on Superior is pretty. At Christmas it was completely snowed over, but at this time of the year I would think it should be nice. ...
