You could get a bad arse gas grill with the infrared rotisserie deal.... That might cost you some ducks though... I'd guess at 3-4k

But you guys have Keifer's? When we lived in Jackson, we must have dined there every other week, sometimes every week.

IMO None better, even in Greek part of Chicago.

It would be amazing to have that big slab of meat rotating in your kitchen at all times

What do you mean "Is it possible"? Of course it is.

There is no gyro police that will randomly inspect your house and take it away from you.

There's a hot spinning cone of meat in that Greek restaurant next door. I don't know what it is, but I'd like to eat the whole thing.

You could make a DIY version with a space heater and drill.

I went in restaurant depot yesterday and was disappointed to find you can buy a frozen cone of gyro meat. Don't know why but I always assumed the gyro meat was fresh.

That thing would be an adults equivalent to a gumball vending machine.

Gyro meat is the Lebanese/Greek form of bologna/salami. Lamb and beef mixed with spices that give it the flavor, an obvious key component is garlic.

Very few make their own lamb/beef version. Most all make their own chicken version.

No reason to be disappointed.

It is a far easier thing to make chicken schewarma cones that gyro cones.
