I need a definitive answer from experts, so I thought I'd turn to the food board.

Which is it and why?

Well yeah, there's "rinds" and "Chicharrón" too, but I'm looking for a consensus of any of the above three.

Cracklings are for out of towners. Or out of staters. Or furriners.

I say cracklin or cracklins. But majority of the time I use cracklin even as the plural form.

Now I want me some cracklin baw.

Just googled this and of course tiger droppings comes up as a search result so I'm going to bump this thread and bring this debate back to surface.

What is the plural form of Cracklin? Is it cracklin or cracklins?

I only say cracklin. It's like fish and its plural, fish.
