Most people know Jameson, Redbreast, Bushmills, Kilbeggan and Powers but it seems there a a good many new whiskeis coming to the market. I tried this one and found it to be excellent. Anyone else try a new Irish Whiskey lately. I would imagine more will hit the shelves as we get closer to St. Patrick's Day.

I have had both the yellow and the green. I thought the green was better. Of course Green Spot has been around for decades just not so much in the US.

I've always been partial to Paddy's.

I used to drink John L Sullivan Irish Whiskey but I haven't had it since the Cooley Distillery was bought by Beam and Sullivan Whiskey vanished from the shelves here in BR in 2012.

Eta: When I drink Irish whiskey I'm not looking for overpowering flavor, more of a crisp, clean, goes down too easy type drink.

How could you leave Tullamore Dew off your list?

Teeling is new to me and pretty good. Someone already mentioned Paddy's.

Jameson or Tully is my daily drinker. I like Redbreast a lot.

Need to try Green Spot and that Irishman you mention.
