Yeah, it's a BMC product.

Most of it is sold at the brewery. I've heard of it hitting a few cities, most likely due to store owners "bootlegging" it. They're supposed to start supplying it regularly to Boston this year.

Sounds intriguing since I'll be in Boston in May.

What is your absolute favorite IPA?

Can I give you a Top 3? My "absolute favorite" changes depending on the mood, and my cravings (as two of them below can't be found in Louisiana).

Sierra Nevada Torpedo
Dogfish Head 90 Minute
Breckenridge Small Batch 471

I had this on tap at a local NOLA bar. Don't know how often they change out taps, but the NOLA Hop was weak. It seemed light and skunky for an IPA. I guess I should give it another shot? This board seems to love it, any negative reviews? Almost resembled a Heiniken. Thoughts?

Hopitoulas isn't a super hoppy IPA, but it's not supposed to be skunky whatsoever. Far cry from a Heineken. It's supposed to be way better from tap, but I haven't tried it from tap. Out of a can and into a glass, it's a solid IPA. Just like the rest of the Nola lineup, it's not amazing, but it's a good, solid beer. Better than anything Abita has put out.

SN Torpedo is a good IPA also.

I agree with this. Out of the tap it's amazing. Out of the can and into the glass it's good, but not like the tap.

Thanks for all of the input guys...decided to start of with Hopitoulas. I really enjoy this beer. Quite refreshing after a hard work out

My local liquor store in Minnesota has this on sale for $9/case. I'm not a fan of IPA's, but if its not too hoppy I'd drink it for that price.
