I need a bit of advice about a "problem"

that I have never encountered, and thus am at a loss for a solution. The son of my "employer" likes to hunt, but evidently besides not knowing how to cook, can't dress a damned duck out. There are two ducks in the outdoor freezer thrown into it whole, unplucked, the whole enchilada. Are these things salvagable at all? I tould like advice, the only thing I can vision is smoking them for a gumbo, or dog food.

Assuming he killed the ducks legally...... I say the best thing for you to do is throw the ducks in the middle of the woods and shoot the first thing that they attract. That will taste better than using them for anything.

So dog food it is. The two labs next door will be happy.

If good looking you can take them to taxidermy.

He may intend to have them mounted. Many people put them in the freezer until they save up enough money to have them mounted, or until their taxidermist has room in his freezer.

You should be ok unless they are badly gut-shot.

What kind of ducks? I'd probably just toss.

I expect he intended to mount them. I wouldn't try to eat them or even pluck and boil them for dogs...gonna smell like crap and too much trouble. If the kid's not mounting them, toss 'em.
