I'm seeing now that vz is .270" vs my .250" stock grips. I'm wondering if there will be a noticeable difference that I'm looking for. I guess I'll have to look for a shop that has them in stock to see. ...

I'm guessing VZ's standard thickness are thicker than my stock wood with the colt medallion (0.25" I believe)?...

I just picked up an early 80s series 70 govt model from my dad, and wanted to hit up the board for some advice. This one is 100% stock and in great condition, but I would like to change out the grips and sights. I would like to put on some thicker grips, and would like to hear some recommend...
