Got some company coming and wanted to try some in the microwave. Probably 4 ears at a time with some of the husk left on. Would hate to screw it up. Any experts out there?

I'd go about 5.5 minutes for 4 ears at one time

I do it like the guy in the video. Husks gave to cover all the corn. Not sure what you mean by some of the husks left on.
I do one at a time at no more than 3 minutes. If the corn was picked fresh, it needs less time.
If I need a lot, I load them in a casserole dish covered in foil and keep it in a warm oven. You can put butter in the dish and roll it around to coat. I have corn dishes with butter in them that I use though.
