Have a buddy going this week and was wondering if there were any beers I should ask him to look for. Any releases recently that aren't sold in the New Orleans market?

Is Firestone Walker available in NOLA? I know it's not in Lafayette.

I'd say find some fresh Double Jack. Also, while Yellow Rose is regarded as overrated on this board (and I'd probably agree with it being over-hyped), it's still a refreshing, easy drinking IPA.

As far a I know Firestone isn't available down here. I've had the DBA and Union Jack while in CA last year. I always forget about them though thanks. Also been hearing good stuff about Yellow Rose so that will be on the list

Firestone Walker, Great Divide, Avery, Karbach, Dogfish Head... there are a shite ton of breweries available in TX that you can't get in NOLA.

They have Ballast Point available as well, depending on the style you like, they have some delicious offerings.

Forgot about Great Divide Ballast Point. What are some standard offerings that won't be too hard to find? Don't want my buddy chasing down hard to get beers. Favorite styles are stouts, porters, IPA's and saison/farmhouse. Appreciate all the help

The specs right by me never has any Jester King. Sort of pisses me off.

I will probably load up on some stuff to bring to friends before my parade in a week. I hope we dont fall off of the float.

Been wanting to get some Ten Fidy and completely forgot about it. It's going to be a good Mardi Gras with this list. Hopefully he can find most of it. Also asked him to grab a couple Jester Kings varieties if he can find them. Anything missing?

1-Yellow Rose – Lone Pint Brewery
2-Sculpin IPA With Citra - Ballast Point Brewing Company
3-Yeti Imperial Stout - Great Divide Brewing
4-Espresso Oak aged Yeti Imperial Stout – Great Divide Brewing
5-Hercules Double IPA – Great Divide Brewing
6-Ten Fidy – Oskar Blues Brewing
7-Old Chub – Oskar Blues Brewing
8-G’Knight – Oksar Blues Brewing
