Is it infected or did they sneak/oops some brett in there somehow?

If they are "oops"ing brett into their beers, they may have a big problem on their hands. But what do I know

lol. if it was made by parish this board would be jazzing their pants and calling it the GOAT

Probably. I think Yellow Rose is one of the best smelling beers, but the taste, after the great smell, leaves some to be desired.

That said, I still recommended it because it is a relaxing day drinking IPA.

Reusing some farmhouse kegs for the imperial stout maybe. I have no clue, just throwing out ideas on why the bottles aren't showing it, but the drafts might be.

Also, while Yellow Rose is regarded as overrated on this board (and I'd probably agree with it being over-hyped), it's still a refreshing, easy drinking IPA.

Who on here says it is overrated other than Zappa?

Most people I know think very, very highly of it.

I would definitely recommend this beer by Sixpoint if you see it fresh (best by 6 months from canning I believe). They tweaked the recipe for 2015. I had one last night and it was great. The finish is cleaner.

I thought it was just Texas GOAT?

Would it still be overrated then? Off the top of my head I'm not coming up with any other great Texas IPAs. Somebody help me out, I'm probably forgetting something.

FWIW, I really liked Zappas Dust Tres

I would at least say it is world-class in the single IPA category.

Best TX IPA I've had, though I haven't gotten the chance to try an IPA from Jester King.

Beer Advocate rates it higher than Union Jack, Jai Alai and LaCumbre Elevated. I would definitely disagree with that.

I could give a shite about what goat rate you label it. I enjoy Yellow Rose. I do wish it was in a can instead of that big arse bomber.

Thanks again guys. I added BB Hellfighter and just for shits and giggles threw in a Bourbon County Stout so the Specs guys would look at him stupid.
