So my home brewing space is coming along:
Carboys that are aging and kegs can fit under the brew table; the 3500W induction cooktop will roiling boil 7g batches at 2900W, and I can move full kettles and mash tuns around on the brew cart as needed. I brewed a batch without lugging full fermenters to the basement and without having to schedule around kitchen stove (two firsts for me). I am probably going to replace the sink with a laundry tub, add some cabinets above the sink, and I need to get a stir plate for yeast starters. Now that I have a second co2 tank and regulator I can keg from the chronical under co2, which is gonna be awesome for hoppy beer.
I'm in the position of needing to sell some older homebrew stuff (mash tun, kettle, brew buckets, glass carboys, racking/transfer stuff, airlocks, etc) so I may for once recover a bit of $$ I've spent.

What type of Ss brewing equipment do you have? Are you happy with thier stuff? I have been thinking about picking up their 10 gal kettle. Their equipment looks like it is built well and a slightly cheaper option to the Blichmann equipment.

I have the 7g conical with temp controller and I love it. I added casters to it via threaded leg inserts, and I have the pressure relief valve/co2 lid adapter to do pressure transfers. I've kept it active almost continuously since I got it a year ago and it's phenomenal.
I have had a ssbrewtech 10g kettle for about 9 months as well and it's super high quality (and induction ready).
The 10g mash tun I just bought (it was a flash sale at an online store) and I'm not sure about it yet. I've brewed one batch. I got it mostly to be able to do kettle sours more efficiently. It's really heavy but has rubber feet that can come off, which seems at first glance to be a problem

My next beer will be my first go with dry yeast
Rehydrate or nah?

I usually don't bother rehydrating, but the only dry yeast I use is us-05.
//edit today I brewed a dunkelweizen to pitch atop the 3068 cake I made a hefe with. This setup works so much better than my kitchen and I only found a few things I need to tweak before the next brew day

I have big beautiful cascades growing but none of them are producing large enough lupulin glands. They smell too green and a bunch are browning to the point of no return. Any hop growers dealing with the same issues this season. Wondering if it's the ridiculous heat...

Starting a watermelon gose and either an IPA or a saison depending on mood

Does this lid work well?
I've been doing pressure transfers with the standard lid since I got it last year and the only issue I've had is that it doesn't hold pressure even at 2psi I can hear Co2 escaping the lid seal.
The transfers work great, but it still bugs the crap out of me.

What's everyone brewing this weekend?
Just went and picked up some pilsner malt and goodbelly probiotics to do a kettle sour. Gonna finish it with ECY Dirty Dozen and peaches.

I took the day off and am in the middle of a boil of a California Common. Nothing fancy about this beer. Just hopefully tasty for the summer time. It's hot as shite though

No homebrew this weekend...but next weekend will be a Citra forward session IPA.

The lid works perfectly. I like it because I know there's no chance I can over pressurize the chronical and bend a clip or worse. I wish it had a ball lock connection instead of a hose though

Posting to bring the thread back up.Hops still struggling. Smell too green. Sucks. Was looking forward to dry hopping a blonde ale with some cascades.
