Drove by yesterday to go to Robert's and it looked open. Has anyone been yet?

They had an invitation only event this weekend. Two of my buddies unknowingly crashed it when they just walked in on Sunday when nobody was watching the door. The manager was cool about it and let them order whatever they wanted free of charge. They said the food was great and the place looks awesome. It should open this week.

They are probably kicking themselves that they couldn't get it open in time for the start of football season, but I think they will KILL at that location.

I kinda feel ripped off in that it looks nicer than the Government Street location -- which is about a half mile from my house. I would love it if my Superior had a dog friendly patio.

I don't think Rum House or Sammy's is hurting for business.
I could see La Caretta on Bluebonnet or the Mexican place on Perkins across from Pennington taking a hit.
