I will go, what the hell.

Generations of New Orleanians have vivid memories of Tony Angello’s Ristorante, which closed on Christmas Eve after more than 40 years in business.
That includes Phil Rizzuto and Jack Rizzuto, two brothers who grew up eating at the beloved Creole Italian eatery in Lakeview. Now, they are developing their own restaurant in Tony Angello’s former home, one they hope will balance a new approach with touchstones of the past, including a few familiar dishes.
Rizzuto’s Ristorante & Chop House will be an upscale Italian steakhouse, serving prime steaks alongside a mix of Creole Italian and regional Italian cuisine.
The new restaurant is slated to open near the end of June and will serve dinner Tuesday through Sunday, along with Sunday brunch. Once it gets rolling, the restaurant will add Friday lunch.

I will just say embedded into Jefferson Parish politics and leave it at that.

"politics" is a very nice way of putting it, lol.

Hopefully it is better than Tony Angellos although I don't think that will be very tough.

With all these restaurants closing in the city this is kinda ballsy to open up a new one. The Rizzuto boys better have an amazing concept.
Not worth a thread but 3 Muses on Maple closed down today. One of my favorite spots to grab food and listen to music uptown. Sad to see it gone, not looking forward traveling out to Frenchman for those Lamb Sliders and truffled edumame.

First thing I thought of when I saw the name. No lie.

This is lakeview though, not uptown. Not as much competition. I mean Steak Knife is still open. If it isn't just god awful, it will turn a profit.
