Help me help my idiot coworker - NOLA food recs

My idiot coworker is going to NOLA this weekend and wants food recs.
Here are his idiotic stipulations:
- No seafood or as he puts it "no ocean critters"
- No Mexican, Asian, or anything remotely not 'Murican
- "No where that the real locals (*wink wink) like to hang out"
- Nothing too fancy.
He is staying downtown.
I told him Cochon. Anything else?

Not a bad thing for NOLA.
I wish the word had never gotten out that there are jobs and great places to live in Atlanta.
Another idea would be to direct him to some good bars around town. Even if the food is only decent, he'd probably have a good time because of good drinks/beer and atmosphere.

Reminds me of my idiot buddy who only wants to eat at Mothers. One time his sisters drug him to Luke. He immediately gets pissed tgey don't have Budlight. Sulls up. Orders the only thing he sees with duck in it cause he didn't know how to pronounce any of the other German shite. So when he gets his duck pate his flips his lid and leaves, goes to Boutbon street and seeks asylum in a bunch of Budlight.
