Most likely fat. 75% of American males are overweight. 33% are obese. I assume the majority of posters here are male. Even if you include female statistics, it's not much different. 64% of females are overweight. 36% are obese.

However, most good recipes and food ideas are going to be fatty, sugary, and salty. You wouldn't come here looking for a baked salmon and steamed broccoli recipe, right? No one wants to see your pictures of a fresh garden salad with a kale-avocado smoothie, right?

People can splurge and not be fat. As long as they're exercising and limiting those kind of meals to a few times a week (considering 21 meals a week), these carb-heavy recipes are fine.

I'm 5-8, 149. Old as dirt. Highest weight was 165 when I was 40. I like to cook so I control every thing I eat (and what my wife eats)...she's 5-7, 114 and 10 years younger than dirt.

Some of it is genetics. Most of it is avoidance of fast food. And I grew up in the era of ...

Regretable food

There are many photos of me floating around. I am the heavily wrinkled, white haired old fart with the Miller lite in his hand.

I was here when Polly broke the hat rack.

I am certified fit and will live a long time, since my heart is functioning with mechanical precision and electronic regulation.

My only real aggravation in life is nosey peoples from Georgia.

The writer of "Cold Mountain" wrote if one brother was in prison and the other in Georgia, he would rescue the one from Georgia first.

ETA MDawg, I upvoted you, BTW.
´Twas an honest question, and really don´t get the ´nosiness´ of it (as per your post).

6'5", 240. I could stand to lose a few lbs, but I'm far from obese despite what the BMI index claims.

Gained some weight recently because I quit smoking. I'll be back to 154 in about a month. Eat and drink what I want.
