I may give it a try. Depends on how long of a bike ride.

Is that what this is about? If so, the dude is really taking it to the strangest level yet.

That's not what it is about. I don't understand why offering up the street address of a business is obligatory in NOLA conversations. Sometimes I think it is because you all love hearing yourselves talk.

Yes, yes it is. You are NOLA-sessed. We apologize for having so many restaurants here that people can't keep up. We'll all stay at home for a week and boycott them to soothe your feelings.

I liked Kebab. I mean it wasn't spectacular or anything but it was fine. The Doner was good.

The no soft drink thing was pretty weird. I mean...wouldn't you WANT to sell more things?

It's a fairly small large city. Giving the street name might be useful

Why does it bother you so much?

Kebab is okay if you treat it as a sandwich place. If you compare it to kebab shops of europe, then it is very underwhelming. The doner kebab is chicken, not lamb.

My experience is that European kebab shops are considerably better and I am not speaking about 3 am drunken kebab trucks in Paris.

Has been a few months since I have made it by there. I do get your complaint about onion to meat ratio.

The fries were pretty legit

I went once and thought it was really good. I had the doner kebab. Maybe it was just an off day and they overcooked the meat?

I also love their homemade sauces.

So you are so much more enlightened than the rest of us that you feel the need to educate us on the locations of your favorite restaurants? Do you think we'd have trouble figuring out where they are without your help? Am I misinterpreting your statement?

Adding the street name puts the place in context for those of us who live in NOLA and have not heard of the place. St. Claude tells me that it's in the Bywater and is probably grimy and full of hipsters. I for one appreciate the addition of location.

Why not reference the neighborhood instead of the street name if that's the info you you really need? Most major cities' residents identify locations by neighborhood, not by street name because most streets are LONG AS frick and span numerous neighborhoods. Eventually you NOLA folks will realize you've been doing it wrong.

Why does this bother you ? What types of other things bother you ?

You do know that New Orleans and its peoples are unique, march to the beat of their own drum.
