My fiancee and I are LSU grads and need ideas for a good grooms cake. Any help would be great.

I've seen Tiger Stadium done a few times. It was kinda cool the first time...but it seems like every sucker I know that is getting married who graduated from LSU has that(Tiger Stadium) for their groom's cake.

My buddy got Les Miles' hat as his grooms cake. It was pretty good. Best part was that only the true LSU fans got it. Many people were confused as to why he would get a random ball cap as his cake. Another good part about the hat is that its fairly easy and therefor inexpensive for a baker to do.

I had a tiger's head - it was great. I've seen some impressive stadiums, but I agree the hat is a good idea, too.

What about 2 green lumps? They could be breasts to everyone not in the know, but all the diehard LSU folks would know they were the Indian Mounds.

I have always liked the "Fleur De Lis LSU Logo" .... Classy.

Or an 800lb. Gorilla with a chainsaw as a member.

I'd probly go with the old school LSU tigerhead logo. That was the best. I'd probly go with that over the stadium.

Ooh..fleur-de-lis tiger looks cool. You might be able to get that cheap if they just do the frosting impression on a rectangle cake (instead of shaping it like a fleur-de-lis).

What about the clock tower? Nice phallic symbol! (Someone I know used to wear a tie pin with the clock tower on it, and we teased him every time he wore it!)

Well my Groom's cake was a Cyrstal burger in the box. it was the size of a microwave,,, it was awesome. The lady that did it made fingers things that looked like french fries, was all butter cream icing. I can't stand fondant and most groom cake's/wedding cakes have it.

I went with TS.

I've seen some shitty ones, but I think mine came out pretty good.

Looks pretty cool, but somehow I feel like I would be committing a sin cutting into that. Like I'd jinx the tigers or something!
