We have a glass top electric.

Buy a single edge razor blade scraper.

Use it to remove any gross burned on food "crusty stuff"

Buy this brand of glass top cleanser. It is the best. Use a light fiber (3M brand) scrubber and the cleanser to clean the top as often as you like.

Our top looks like it did the day we purchased it.

I bet I cook more than you. Maybe not?

Recipes I have posted. Most show the stove

Induction is the way to go. Heats like a mf and easy as heck to clean unlike a gas stove. I boiled some pasta today and was really impressed with how fast the water came to a boil. Also easy to turn down in the event of a boil over.

The response time is instant. Every bit as good as gas

I would love induction, but I'm not wasting all my magnalite and cast iron.
