One of our local stores is carrying Wasatch (Utah), Squatter (Utah), Indian Wells (Colorado), and Sea Dog (Maine).

Squatter good
Indian Wells consistently makes some of the most putrid beer I've ever tasted.
The others I don't know.

Wasatch is the best out of that group as far as I'm concerned. Don't know too much about the Maine one but I'm sure others will correct me if I'm wrong.

I agree with this. They make truly horrible beers.

I'm a fan of the two Utah breweries. Not a huge fab of the other two. If I remember correctly Sea Dog puts out that blueberry that is terrible IMO.

I think Indian Wells makes Amnesia IPA. The worst IPA I've ever had in my life (no hops with a metallic taste). Don't let the cool looking bottle fool you.

Wasatch - Got some, haven't tried it yet.
Squatter - Very good.
Indian Wells - Average - hit and miss
Sea Dog - Average, nothing special

Pretty much agree with the assessments here, although Indian Wells makes a bock called Lobotomy Bock that's actually pretty good. Very high in alchohol, though, so one or two will do you.

Yup... looks like people are on the right track.

Squatter's and Wasatch are part of a cooperative and are both consistently good breweries. If you ever see the sour wild ale from Squatter's called 5th Element give it a try.

Indian Wells is terrible, the only one worth considering is the Lobotomy Bock but the others are worthless.

I've only had the blueberry beer from Sea Dog and it's very in your face and sweet with the blueberry. You have to really like blueberries to enjoy that one.

Correct. An absolutely terrible IPA. The packaging caught my eye and I bought a 6pack a while back. I dumped 5 down the sink.

I couldn't finish 1/4 of that beer.

I've been keeping my eyeout for this. I've only had one beer by them so far and it was an ok amber (Big Cottonwood). I liked the label so I bought it.

I've had Squatter IPA, which was pretty good. Indian Wells tastes like urine cut with anti-freeze. If you bought something from them, I suggest sitting it out in the sunlight so it can skunk, which may actually improve the flavor.
