I know I'm old as dirt, but being at LSU and watching these guys play at Murphy's on a game day was such a quintessential LSU experience. No doubt there's plenty to love about being an LSU student now, but holy crap were those days awesome. ...

Do NOT order the shrimp burrito at El Gato Negro in New Orleans and expect to get anything done the rest of the afternoon. It was damn good, but eff have I been fighting against it the whole afternoon.
Damn I need a nap, but like I said, it was at least very, very tasty....

I know a couple of years ago when that place on Perkins was called Cork & Bottle they had the best beer selection in BR, I think its called Cuban now but not sure if they kept all the beer....

Pretty much agree with the assessments here, although Indian Wells makes a bock called Lobotomy Bock that's actually pretty good. Very high in alchohol, though, so one or two will do you....
