Jester King Das Uberkind

Very good. Tetu, I think this would be right up your alley.

I have one of these in fridge thanks to an FBD BX and I am looking forward to trying it.

FBD was a Beer Here Hopfix Rye IPA at Bulldog - not bad by any means, but pretty meh.

SBD was a Mikkeller Black IPA also at Bulldog - solid beer.

Both were 10oz pours, so I am currently contemplating TBD back home.

My thinking is that two 10oz beers should not count as 2 beers as far as the rule/guideline goes!

It is a sour. Think along the lines of an 1809 Berliner Weiss.

Nice. I may have that one for FBD tomorrow and count it as one beer.

That works

3 tonight plus 1 tomorrow is a two/day average

Math is awesome!

FBD is Shmaltz/Terrapin Reunion Ale

I really liked that one this year and I'm afraid it never made it to BR.

FBD - 21st Ammendment Monks Blood.

Not my usual style, but I'm liking it. I need to add more Belgian style beers to my arsenal.

To be honest I haven't tried many outside of a beer fest I went to. I had several of the Chimay's and I also had La fin Du Mond (sp?). But I drank so many different types I really don't remember how they were.

Lots of good ones out there.

La Fin du Monde and Maudite by Unibroue are 2 of my favorites. IMO, Ommegang is the best domestic producer of beers in the Belgian style. Their Abbey Ale and Three Philosophers are great.

I need to try Three Philosophers, but I think about their Abbey Ale daily.. So far it's my favorite beer I've tried.
