Never heard of Thee Oh See.

Edited .. it's Thee Oh Sees. Check em out. They have been around for about 7 years and have a very extensive discography already. If you like Tame and BRMC you'll dig these guys. They kick some arse.

Wise, got them at Filet & Vine in Montgomery, AL. About half an hour from my folks' place but well worth the drive every time I come visit.

for anyone who's into modern psychedelic rock (a la - Tame Impala or Black Rebel Motorcycle Club) the new album by Thee Oh Sees, "Floating Coffin" fricking jams.

I'll check it. Been jamming Black Angels all day tooling around Austin hitting thrift stores.

Nice haul R2R. Mexican Cake definitely lived up to the hype for me. Had it in a bomber and draft. Both outstanding. Love some 8-bit as well. Agree with you on Good People Pale. It's more of a session beer I guess. I like it but not crazy about it like I am with the IPA or Snakehandler.

My FBD won't be till later, but seeing R2Rs haul, I figured I needed to get advice for this coming weekend. Heading to Austin for my first time and need to know if there are any must have beers to grab while I'm out there

Great news for you LA residents, CCB just announced on Twitter that they are doing a collaboration with New Belgium. LA may get a crack at some CCB brews without leaving the state...

I keep going back to Elephant. Heard it on the Blackberry Z10 commercial and I hear it in the background of some other shows and I Love it.

Anything else by them that's like that?

Yeah the pale is just rather standard and boring comparatively. Pumped about this Mexican Cake. So pumped that I drove back over there and got 2 more bombers. There's a ton @ Filet & Vine (maybe 2 dozen) if anyone is in the Montgomery area and wants to pick some up.

TBD back at the house getting ready to cook some gumbo and watch the HR Derby / Tallgrass Oasis

this one is quite good. just enough alcohol @ 7.2% to take it to the next level, without being overbearing.
