Just filled up a grenade of Courtyard Baby IPA. Had to convice Scott to sell it to me, as they are no longer filling growlers with thier hoppy beers, by promising him I would drink it tonight. So that will be FBD later

I got the impression it was due to smaller batches, and Scott being the hop head he is just wants the beers enjoyed as fresh as possible. Seemed strange to me too. The menu board literally says "no growlers" next to the two IPAs

FBD is a Night Shift The 87 double ipa. Really nice. Taproom is a pretty sweet space.

The more I drink this, the more I dig it. almost more bitterness on the finish than I care for but the big tropical and citrus flavors up front balance it out very well. This is a very good DIPA.
