re: Homebrewing Thread: Volume II - HungryFisherman
When you BIAB on the stove are you doing 5 gal batches? I like the idea of Brew in a bag. Seems like less steps and slightly less equipment. Do you use the stove to hold mash temp? For example keep babysitting the burner to hold mash temp? I guess holding mash temp is one of the hurdles to f...

re: FBD - It's Friday somewhere - HungryFisherman
Ok. I'll have another. There was beer in my heart. And fridge. Doing some clean out. Waiting on in laws to get here; in town to help with/see the new house... This beer has always been enjoyable to me. This one is from 2016, so pre AB InBev sellout. B...

re: Homebrewing Thread: Volume II - HungryFisherman
Any of y'all ever Brew In a Bag, or have any opinions? I'm still a ways off from it, but have started to think about equipment and getting into all-grain this year. Have only extract brewed and the equipment isn't mine. Looks like if I want 5 gallon batches all I really need is a 10 gal kett...

FBD at home is a NEAF IPA from WF houston. It is indeed NE AF. Don't worry about what the international man of beer mystery, List Eater says, WF still makes the best hoppy beers in Houston. ...

re: FBD - Saturday Snow - HungryFisherman
Probable LBD while watching the ACC championship (let's go Duke). 2013 Parish Grand Reserve. Pardon the dirty label. Cellar fridge crapped out on us a while back and some growth occurred. No impact on the beer. Has aged wonderfully. Some minor oxidation, but with this big of a sweet malt bill it...
