I love all wine. Red, white, rose'. One of life's greatest pleasures. Along with food and shared love. I see no reason to limit any of this life's experiences.

Lot of votes for Old Vine Zin. I've never had it, so I bought a bottle tonight - damn this stuff is great.

Priorat

Potent, very potent D.O.

They primarily use Cariñena, and I think they make astounding wine there.

Personally, I find it pricey for what it is, but they make wonderful wine for serious red meat dishes.

Priorato or Priorat is spot on for game.

Cab and it's not close. If by brand, my go to is normally 14 Hands.

For the price of $12ish per bottle, Bogle makes a damn good Old Vine Zin.

always liked it, never been what I called a favorite though. thats is until i went to Texas Hill Country a couple weeks ago. frickers apparently know what they are doing. Came back with a few bottles of it along with some other styles. They do a lot of the "spanish/south american" styles out there. Tempranillo, Malbec etc etc. Also, do some good whites and a few Rose' types

Yes, they do. Now if you want to step up to the $25 range, I recommend Dry Creek.
