Mississippi Mule
1/2 oz lime juice
2.5 oz Cathead Honeysuckle Vodka
4 to 6 oz ginger beer
Serve in a copper mug, or low ball glass, or really whatever you want to serve it in.
Stir all ingredients together. Recommend using cracked ice.
Mint sprig and lime wheel garnish
Recommended ginger beer: Fever Tree, Barritts, Goslings or Reeds.

It is hot. The bourbon soda is an ideal "cooler".
Fill tall glass w/ice
2 oz bourbon
1/4 lemon squeezed
Dash Peychaud's
Dash Regan's orange

I drank Pimm's Cups all day yesterday and they were outstanding.
-Fill cup with ice
-Fill halfway with lemonade
-Couple of good splashes of Pimm's
-a splash or two of vodka
-Top off with 7-Up (diet for me)
-Stir with a cucumber
Delicious and refreshing

I like Mojitos this time of year. Copied this but it's how I do it.
Ingredients
1 lime, cut into pieces
2 teaspoons sugar or (3 tsp simple syrup)
2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves
2 ounces light rum
2 ounces club soda
1 sprig of mint
ice
Directions
Place lime, sugar, and mint in a shaker. Mash with a muddler or a wooden spoon. Add rum and club soda and stir to combine.Serve over ice and garnish with a sprig of mint.
