Staying at the montleon after a work crawfish boil in Metairie. Looking for a place to go get some appetizers and drinks after. We all know crawfish won't fill us up. Has to be within walking distance

You could eat in the bar at R'evolution which isn't far from the Monteleone.

I've only been to Bourbon House once and I didn't care for it much. I had all appetizers as I recall.

two of my favorite places are Mr. B's and The Grape Vine. Grape vine has a great happy hour for wine drinkers and good selection of appetizers.

Another vote for Mr. B's. Get the BBQ shrimp. You're welcome. You will definitely have satisfied your shellfish addiction after doing this today.

We went to the Royal House New Year's weekend with a group of 14. The waiter could tell we were locals. He gave us a 20% discount off the listed menu prices.

Naturally, that was substantial. We in turn gave it as a tip.

I also think Mr. B's is excellent.
