This is my favorite part of the show love seeing his reaction to the food. And you can usually tell based on how it's made if it's going to suck anyway.

I love the show and don't really care if he's a douchefag in real life. He is the king of taking large bites of food without dropping shite all over himself. Sometimes it's down right amazing. Hand
/mouth coordination if off da charts.

Unlock the jaw. Feet shoulder-width apart. Unlock the jaw. Half rotate sandwich vertically back and forth to achieve max bite.

I'd rather watch him take bites of food than watch the terds they interview eating and making cringe-worthy descriptions

I love the show, but I could absolutely do without the customer portion. Just show me the chef/kitchen/food/technique.

That show would be so much better if it was hosted by anyone else -- shite, even the head of ISIS would be a better host than that douchenozzle. It's gotten to the point that I start to watch it, but after the first mention of "flavor town", I change the channel.

See, he makes corny jokes and I am a HUGE sucker for cheeseball jokes. So I laugh and laugh. Jones thinks I'm insane. But shite is funny!

"That sauce is money" is another. Also, "on point" gets honorable mention.

I love it for what I get out of it. New ideas, techniques, places to try, flavor combinations and just increasing my culinary repertoire.

One thing you see on that show more than any other that pisses me off....When he tries a dish that some jackleg calls "cajun whatever" and they just slap some tonys on it. but thats another rant for another day.

This seems as good a place as any for this.

Do you ever wonder if Guy Fieri thinks flavortown is a real place?

I don't like the guy...BUT I do like the premise of showcasing independent operators all over the country. Have been to a fair share of places featured on his show, and they've all been pretty good. I like any show that promotes independent entrepreneurs.....so many folks blindly turn to chains. It's nice to see that the U.S. still has a lively bunch of oddball joints.

I considered consulting the places he's been when traveling, but it's a toss up.

I've seen some really good places, and I've seen some places that aren't doing a whole lot.. they're just dingy and local.

I could see somewhere like George's in BR being on there, and I'd hate to be led to George's if I was an out of towner coming to BR.

So you either like him or this is alternative?

I hate the show and I don't care if he is a douche in real life. He's a douche on the show. Completely disingenuous.
