Has anyone checked this place out yet? I have heard they have a really good tap list.
Any TVs available so you can sit down and watch the games?

No TV or places to sit. They don't have any chairs or tables inside in order to get a higher occupants number from the Fire Marshall. They will be selling growlitos or meowers whatever you call them soon. Will be a great place to grab some beers to go.

It appears to have a very good list. If you can search, there is a good thread on here about in from last week.

The tap room itself is small. It's not really a courtyard either...more of a parking lot. Still, a cool little spot that New Orleans should welcome with open arms.

They did have a solid tap list...I wonder if they'll keep some of those available when they start rolling out their own stuff? I wouldn't be the guy who orders a different beer at the brewery, but they did have around 20 or so tap lines.

It's a cool and small place with a solid beer list.

They don't have seating, but they did have some fold-up chairs the night I visited. The "Courtyard" is a parking lot, and I wonder if they could put some bench seating outside. That would be excellent for this time of year.

Grenades, howlers, grumblers, les growles petites, mini-growlers, growlettes, squealers, moaners, half growlers, 32/64 growlers, 32oz growlers...

No doubt, throw some umbrellas for the summer.

Wrong, chairs were donated by someone this past weekend. They have plenty of chairs now.

Even if they didn't have chairs, there is plenty of space to sit down and hang out outside. You people should actually go to some of the places that are discussed on this board before you start warning other people not to go based on some information you heard that isn't necessarily true.

The guys that run this place are pretty awesome. I hope their beer is good because it is a cool little spot to stop in for a beverage.

I went when they first opened and sat on the stairs outside. My pants remained clean.

Looking forward to checking this place out but the owner's personal twitter feed vacillates between hating everything New Orleans does culinary-wise or culturally and hating the city government. Not that there is anything wrong with one of those sentiments.

Its sort of offputting.

Gives me the weirds when business owners are extremely opinionated on social media. There are a few bars/restaurants in BR with owners who do this.

And look its their prerogative to use social media however they want, but New Orelans is a very boosterific city. Meaning we really like us some New Orleans and I just wonder how bashing other cultural institutions is great for your brand. Which lets face it is the sole reason something like Twitter exists.

yup, but that is no longer the case. The place has only been open for a week and a half. I've been twice and there were never more than 5-10 people there at one time. There is plenty enough space for 5-10 people to sit comfortably without chairs. I encourage you to go down there and take a look for yourself. The current tap list is well worth risking not being able to sit down.

Also, is it really that crazy to have to stand up and drink a beer? Maybe I'm the crazy one?
