Tried it out tonight for the first time and was very underwhelmed. This burger is not in the same league as port of call. Don't get me wrong, I did not think it was bad, just didn't live up to the supposed hype.

For one I didn't like how thin the patties were, didn't trap enough juice in the paddy.

Also missed on their price point big time. 12 bones for a burger and fries. Yikes

I'm simply going to say that I disagree on all accounts.

You honestly think this is a better burger than port of call?

I can't commit to that answer. However, it's a damn good burger. Port of call is more of a hangover experience as well. Can't really just swoop in and grab one.

I'm of the school of thinking that yomama's (when it was open) was much better than port of call.

Absolutely without a doubt

It's better than Port and is juicy as hell, IMO

But the prices are absolutely absurd. I paid $15 for a burger w bacon, rings and a drink. I feel violated when I eat there

Wayyyy better than port o call. Pricey, yes. But flavor and juicy goodness wayy exceeds port o call. By itself (no mayo or any condiments) company burger hands down is better

I think it's a little overrated. But it is a good burger. Haven't been there in a while. Never feel like paying their prices when I can find a cheaper alternative that I find tasty as well.

They are different types of burgers. Company being a flat top, thin type patty.

But they put so much more effort into their draft than port o call. You are missing the big picture here. The buns, the meat, the condiments, pickles, the sides.,,, you're not tasting the difference?

One is a dinner burger and one is a lunch burger. And yes Company is expensive, but you are paying for good quality. If big and cheap are what you want, then Sammy's on Elysian fields is your best bet. 3/4# burger for $8.

Company is my go to lunch burger place.

not even in the top ten anymore, honestly.

Try Cowbell, Hi-hat and BooKoo and then report back.

I like Company as much as anyone, but it's hard for me to pass up on High Hat's burger.

I don't mind paying their prices. Plus, PoC is so much more of a hassle to go to with parking and the wait.

Hi Hat is on another level & probably cheaper. I like Company but the fan boys don't even know Hi hat exists.
