Coming Soon LaSalle's Crawfish and Lobster Rolls.

Does anyone know the backstory on this?

Those New England style rolls really threw me off when I moved up here. Now I much prefer them.

I’ve often wondered why we don’t see more of that on menus down here, especially with lobster cheap in recent years, amd we have plenty of crawfish and shrimp.

Not sure if a biz other than a food truck can make it on that concept alone. Maybe they will have other offerings.

I find them every so often in Metairie. I want to say it's usually at Walmart. I have seen them at Rouse's but not in the bakery or bread dept. I think it was by the meat dept.

Walmart may carry the Pepperidge Farm split top hot dog bun. It might be a little on the smaller side but they are really good and have enough flavor to be used for something besides hot dog wieners.

I've never seen them anywhere I've lived. They're the perfect vessel for a lobster roll or a crab roll.

I've used the King's split top hot dog buns when I can't find the Pepperidge Farm.

Heather V’s in the same shopping center has a shrimp salad sandwich that is very lobster roll-esque.
