Going to Chophouse in N.O this saturday for the wife's Bday. Any recommendations?

carpaccio
wedge salad
ny strip, delmonico (broiled) or the center cut ribeye are all quality
creamed spinach
onion rings

and don't neglect their wine list there's some solid stuff on there

+1 Both are excellent.

I thoroughly enjoyed my ribeye on my last trip. As Rohan mentioned, they have one of the best wine lists in town.

Bring yo wallet, you'll need it.

I dont recall the wine list being anyting to write home about besides usual steakhouse fare. What did you see?

Crab app is great, but it is made for tables of 5+.

All of the above...but I will add the baked shrimp app.

I have eaten there probably 6 times in the last two months. The place is excellent. ..wine list is great...especially by the glass.

Very good piano most night and dry martinis up.

We get the cowboy Ribeye and split a lot of other things.

If they have stone crabs, those are a must.

started - with app of Baked shrimp and Bacon apps
Salad - split the house chophouse salad
Entree - wife got the 8oz filet. i had the Delmonico
Sides - creamed spinach and house made fries
Dessert - split cheesecake,
Place was top notch. Mike the manager is great. Will go back
