Chik-Fil-A Grand Opening (Post opening update)

My next door neighbor is opening a Chik-Fil-A in Beaverton - the first one in the state of Oregon. I didn't particularly miss it, until I found out that one was going to be opening near me. Now I'm getting a huge craving for it. I sure as hell hope that these crazy Oregonians support this place and it is successful.

Ya know, I really do like Chick Fil A, but I don't think I've been (other than for chicken minis for breakfast a couple times) since early college.
Their nuggets are awesome, and waffle is my #1 type of fry.

With all of the CFA hype tossed at me over the years, I decided to finally check out the place. Got the chicken sandwich and wondered what all the hoopla was about. Very unimpressed with the sandwich. They did have the sides and customer service going for them though. I think I've been there twice. Enjoy.

I remember that official SJW boycott day a few years ago. It was a record breaking day of profit for Chik-Fil-A.

Yeah, my wife invariably would ask to go to Chik-Fil-A on Sundays, too.
To the earlier post - My neighbor can print money with that store, but I believe Chik-Fil-A limits you to only owning one store, and although they have very low franchise fees, the corporation takes a significant share of the profits. I think you can make a very solid living off with a Chik-Fil-A franchise, but I don't think you will get rich.

They offered the first 100 people in line a free meal once a week for a year. I'm 'bout to run by there and see all the homeless people that are lined up outside their building.

This isn't accurate. I know someone with more then one franchise. They are very strict with whom they contract with.
