I was there last Sunday with a few beloved F&DB members and we got served some shite that was passed off as burnt ends. We know they just changed suppliers, lowered the price, and claim they wouldn't run out. Wonder if he wasn't onboard with selling shitty BBQ.

He shite canned the social media person. He decided that was his responsibility. That wasn't part of the deal, so they cut him loose.

I think I know the social media woman, went to LSU, mid 30's, lots of marketing experience?

I thought this was a great move (hiring a professional to handle social media and marketing) when I heard about it a few weeks ago, especially for marketing their catering options and the event space in the back. Don't know what happened but I will say this, with an operation that expansive there is no way the chef should even think about handling the social media in this day and age. Can't comment on food quality changes, haven't been in a few weeks.

Those ends do look subpar to his other product. Remember I questioned in the other thread what he meant by a new burnt ends supplier shouldn't it just a new brisket supplier?

If the BBQ stays the same as it is right now, CCBBQ will never be talked about in threads about BBQ. The Q just isn't very good quality right now.
