i know this is a tired subject on here, hell i love talking boudin but it even gets old to me. however, i have sampled a lot recently on my trips back and forth to houston. i am trying to find the perfect link. i know its personal taste but here are my listings

1) bourques in port barre plus its what i grew up on.

2) poche's in breaux bridge. had great flavor but had grissle(sp) chunks in it. plus lady was not real friendly

3) dons in scott. its a good link but not as great as advertised

4) rabideaux's in iowa. good but greasy

5) drive thru place in henderson, dont know the name.

someone tell me the perfect place to stop!

Ive never had any issues in opelousas, and this is located on the south side of town so you definitely wont have any issue.

Earl's in Lafayette is my favorite. Don's is good. Best Stop has very good boudin balls. I have been disappointed in the boudin itself the two times I've tried it.
