Does Hebert's make boudin?

yes, but does not top my list..

Not a big fan of Earls either, but others seem to like it and its on the way to NuNu's

Wish I had known about the Sunday BBQ there... I used to pass it every Sunday.

I stopped by the Sausage Link in Sulphur this weekend while on a hunting trip and was quite pleased with the boudin and the prices. Their smoked bacon wrapped boudin was pretty damn good. You really can't beat $0.75 boudin balls the size of your fist and $3.49/lb links Great place to people watch as well

The only way to determine which is best is to get boudin from several places and do a side by side comparison. I always thought that I liked best stop better than dons until I tried them side by side.

I'd rank my favorites in this order:
Dons
Best stop
Nunus
Mowata
Bourques

If you are going to grab a link from Sausage Link I would also suggest trying The Boiling Point, it's 1 min north at exit 21. I know Kevin at Sausage Link goes over for the boudin competition in Lafayette, not sure how he does though.

If tour stick in BR go to Ronnies. Get some cracklin. Call you cardiologist.

I'm a fan of Best Stop but haven't been too many places to compare.

The Best Stop in Scott....hands down the best I've had, Ronnie's in Baton Rouge is good too but I'd rather drive the extra hour to get it from the Best Stop!!!
