I personally have never cared for Best Stop, or Don's, or Billy's. I mean I thought all of them were OK, but nothing spectacular.
My current favorite is T-Jims (Cottonport). Never had T-Boys but it's definitely on my to-do list.

My favorites in the past have been Mowata Store and Poche's, but I've heard that both have gone downhill. T-Jims is my choice, for now. Their regular, smoked, and red boudin is all superb.

I made a special trip to mowata just for their boudin bc I heard great things about it and was 100% dissapointed. I gave it 3/10 tops.

The Mowata Store boudin has definitely gone down hill. I ate it 2 years ago and it was incredible but I stopped and bought some just before the summer and I was very unimpressed. Doesn't even compare to the Scott locations anymore although much better than what Lake Charles has to offer.

T-Boy's is my personal favorite.. stopped by last week and picked up boudin and a smoked ponce.. The ponce was very good.. not overly smoked, and well seasoned. If you don't like pepper though, it's not for you.
