If Bear's on the Southshore is like the original in Covington, it's extremely overrated. I've tried it multiple times and it is as mediocre as it gets, The gravy is watery and the meat is lacking in flavor.

R&O's is vastly superior.

Parasols, but I've never had Bevi and it's been at least 10 years since trying R&Os.

ETA: I still usually get shrimp from Parasols and add a side of gravy fries. Their gravy fries have chunks of the roast beef.

My favorite used to be at Tony's in da Parish. Had been eating them since the '70s. Damn, I miss that place.

Bens in meraux and rocky's has a decent one but it's been a few years since I've been down there
