I've only tried a few, but so far I like

Ancora
Slice
Dolce Vita (even though it's a little less than Ancora)

Need to try Tower of Pizza and Domenica.

Are there any places to get a crunchy crust? Not so THIN (like CPK) but just a medium crunchy crust....Like Dean'O's I guess. .

TIA

fwiw I said the most satisfying pizza anyone will ever have in New Orleans is from the Doughbowl at 3 AM

I agree, that Dough Bowl is freaking delish at 3am.

I've also had Midway and I'm a fan of a few of their pies...including the basic Pepperoni

I think that's the worse of their 3 places

Nearly ever recommendation worth taking has a thin crust. That removes Reginelli's.

I would check Crescent Pie out for a non-traditional pie with a crisp crust.

I don't doubt it. I mean it's connected to the Boot

But over Mardi Gras I probably had a slice at least 4 times

I've had it a few times. Last lady friend would order from there on occasion. It's not the worst pizza in the world.

It's not Domenica but it's my clear favorite for delivery style pizza (the Reginellis, Papa John weight class).

I also like Venezia which will probably earn me some scorn.

I used to go regularly when I was young. Went a month or two ago and it was still solid but the service was as bad as it gets. Pizza was decent but a little doughy.

Dolce Vita is really good for Classic Italian style.
I think Ancora and Domenica are both a little better, but pricier.

I thought Rocketfire was really good. I like the coal fired crust.

I used to think Reginelli's was "okay" in a pinch, but the last pie I had from the one across the street from Grande Pescador sucked big time.

I'd say:

Domenica
Ancora
Dolce Vita
Slice

Haven't tried Oak Oven.

NY Pizza works in an emergency. Especially the $5 pint and slice.
